EXPERIENCE

THE PILGRIMAGE EXPERIENCE

At Regina Pilgrimages, we appreciate the value of spiritual pilgrimages to the Catholic shrines of the world. It is with this in mind that we strive to arrange the material side of your trip so that it will proceed smoothly and with as little concern to you as possible. At the same time, we endeavor to deepen the knowledge of our Catholic legacy by providing you with information on the sites, saints, and shrines which you will visit.

The greatest advantage is that a Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) priest travels with the group and celebrates daily Tridentine Mass, which is at the center of each day’s activities, and which we strive to schedule at significant religious sites. The pilgrims are given enough time to spend at shrines, churches, and monasteries, and there is also free time to explore on their own museums, parks, and typical restaurants, allowing them to better grasp the culture of the countries visited.

In an effort to make your pilgrimage experience a smooth and enjoyable one we arrange accommodations at comfortable superior class hotels with all the modern conveniences. Furthermore, a professional Tour Escort with expertise in the visited Catholic treasures, remains with the group during the entire trip for anything you might need: special requests, baggage loss, tips on where to go during your free time or where to eat, etc. Porterage is included, so your luggage will be taken to your room and then back to the motor-coach upon departure from the hotel.

Prior to departure, each pilgrim receives a customized travel booklet containing important trip information and also details on the saints and shrines on the itinerary. During the pilgrimage, the escort and local guides focus on the Catholic history and saints of the visited sites.

All breakfasts are included, as well most dinners. Sometimes in the larger cities we do not include dinner at the hotel so that pilgrims have the opportunity to sample the typical cuisine at a local restaurant.

We take care of group reservations and entrance fees in advance so that the scheduled visits run smoothly and the group takes the most advantage of its time at each site. In other words, all you have to do is enjoy your pilgrimage!
